  • We warmly welcome Amber, who yesterday was presented her back patch, becoming the latest full member of LHC Dallas! (pledge project report | leather journey statement)
  • And outstanding work to LHC itself, for successfully keeping secret from Sheri the next presentation — of her master’s cover! Please share your congratulations with Master Sheri herself! (presentation notes)
  • Daddie Danger joins LHC-A as Prospect! We’ve known and respected Daddie Danger as a brilliant mind, kinky player, and responsible community member for years, and are so pleased to take a step toward being family!

Congratulations, all! We love you, stay safe.

South Plains Leather Fest 2018

The curtain has fallen on another South Plains Leather Fest conference it was amazing from the Master/Slave contest, the educational classes, the silent auction, the play parties, and the keynote speaker was inspiring. Everyone you talked to was welcoming and pleased to be together again. Theplay parties were incredible, everywhere I looked I saw one scene after another that was delightful to watch.

As always, my favorite is the silent auction. Everyone was very generous they had so many items it was astonishing. Lots of money was raised for the travel fund for this year’s winners. My family outdid themselves we have four different baskets/items that did very well.

The Wonder Woman framed posters took center stage with an ending bid of $160.00, not far behind was the outstanding antique box full of about 25 to 30 wonderful name brand cigars and accessories the ending bid was $140.00. The Scotch/Whisky basket with the decanter/glass set the ending bid of $ 80.00. Last was the desktop humidor with a beautiful cherry wood finish the ending bid was $65.00. The grand total $445.00 not bad guys you all did a great job.

Another remarkable year I for one can’t wait till next year……

LHC Welcomes Three Full-Patch Members

28 May 2017
The Leatherheart Clan of Dallas, TX, warmly welcomes as new full-patch members TRACI, SHERI, and SARAH. Each has moved in good standing through Prospect into Pledge status, and now, with the completion of their pledge projects, in an afternoon ceremony for leather family and friends, has earned their LHC back patches!

LHC President Brett spoke on the theme of the human right to personal identity — of which radical sexuality is one aspect — to ensure that each new member regarded their patch not as a step toward uniformity, but as LHC’s acceptance of them as exactly the individuals they are, and LHC founder JLubeJack spoke in remembrance of our forerunners in the struggle for this right.

Welcome, Sarah, Sheri, and Traci!

Corsets & Cocktails a big fundraising success for Team Friendly HIV Awareness

On May 13, the Leather Heart Clan partnered with Team Friendly, Sue Ellen’s, and Trinity Community Church to produce Corsets and Cocktails. The 4-hour fundraiser featured auctions of almost 40 corsets and seven specialty baskets raffled. Over 150 attended to watch a dozen sexy models strut their stuff, with entertainment and auctioneering by Violet O’Hara and Boy Patrick. Freebird and Neridia Red sold hundreds of dollars of raffle tickets for the specialty baskets. Producing the event for LHC were Ms.Texas and Sheri, and the whole LHC leather family pitched in for more than three months of preparations, as well as on the day of the event. Merchants and clubs throughout the community helped spread the word to their patrons and members, ensuring the tremendous turnout.

“We were proud to present over $3,100 to Team Friendly DFW,” Ms. Texas said. “We far exceeded our most optimistic goals! The crowd had a great time, and everyone jumped into the bidding.”

“This really was a community event,” said LHC’s co-producer Sheri. “Contributing from other clubs were Boy Anna, Boy River, Amber, Josh, Stella, Ray, AJ, many others. The models were just spectacular! Everyone had a great time cheering them on.” A total of 10 companies generously donated merchandise and services to the event, and 33 individuals made generous personal donations. “This shows what the community can do, when it comes together for a good cause,” said Ms.Texas.
